Ingrid Mueller is an expert in translation studies (MMag. phil.), translator, and interpreter for English and Russian, as well as a journalist and PR consultant.
Certified translator for English and Russian for the Courts and Notaries Public of Berlin.
She has longstanding experience in intercultural communications and in target- group-specific translations with a special focus on public affairs and public relations.
Mueller has been a producer for international projects with TV21/Sabine Christiansen since 2007, and, among others, for “Global Players” on CNBC with on-site productions at international locations (e.g. Dead Sea/Jordan, St. Petersburg, Stockholm, Barcelona, London, Dubai); as well as a researcher and editor for briefings and question papers, in addition to soliciting and liaising with talk show guests and interview partners.
From 2001-2007, Mueller was the Press Relations Manager at the American Academy in Berlin, responsible for developing the transatlantic think tank’s proficient external communications; for soliciting op-eds and analyses, interviews or briefing for leading figures in politics, business and culture. She was also in charge of managing and editing regular special publications in German and English, as well as of the content management of the Academy’s website.
